Two vehicles collided in a traffic incident on Tuesday afternoon around 2:30 PM. Initial reports suggest that a black Dodge Challenger flipped over the concrete median barricade. Following this, a dark green G-Class Mercedes SUV collided with the Dodge while attempting to evade it. Fortunately, four individuals were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The accident resulted in extensive traffic congestion stretching northbound along both the Pacific Coast Highway and the 10 freeway. Both lanes of the Tunnel were closed to facilitate the clearing of the scene, causing miles of backlog. Additionally, the California Incline was temporarily shut down. After about an hour, the Tunnel reopened, gradually restoring the flow of traffic. The Daily Press has reached out to the California Highway Patrol for further details, which will be provided once available.
