Fatal 4-Car Crash on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino Claims Three Lives

A tragic collision on the 215 Freeway in San Bernardino resulted in three deaths and two injuries late Saturday night. The accident occurred around 11:26 p.m. on the northbound lanes near University Parkway, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Authorities reported that a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia was stopped on the right shoulder when a 2018 Toyota Corolla crashed into its rear. The impact sent the Corolla spinning across the freeway, where it collided with a 2010 Acura MDX. The disabled Corolla was then hit by a 2024 RAM 3500.

The crash resulted in the death of three individuals. Two women, including the Corolla’s driver, were ejected from the vehicle, and a third woman was found inside. All three were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released.

The freeway was closed for several hours as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash. Authorities have not yet disclosed whether drugs or alcohol were involved. The incident remains under investigation, and anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.
