Los Angeles Rollover Crash: 5 Hospitalized

A dramatic rollover crash unfolded Sunday in Los Angeles' Mid-City neighborhood, propelling five individuals to the hospital, with several in critical or serious condition, as confirmed by authorities to KTLA.

Responding swiftly, the Los Angeles Fire Department rushed to the 4700 block of Venice Boulevard following reports of a two-vehicle collision, as detailed in an LAFD news release.

Firefighters on the scene utilized hydraulic rescue tools to extricate a trapped individual from a dark-colored vehicle that had flipped onto its side during the impact. With precision, they proceeded to cut through the vehicle's roof to access the trapped person.

In total, six individuals were involved in the collision. Among them, a 51-year-old man was transported to the hospital in serious condition, while two women aged 51 and 62 were listed in critical condition. Additionally, a 40-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl sustained moderate injuries, according to LAFD reports.

Remarkably, a 46-year-old man emerged from the wreckage with only minor injuries and declined hospital transport.

The involvement of alcohol or drugs in the crash remains uncertain, with no further details provided at this time.

A vehicle plunged off an overpass onto Interstate 5 in Sacramento’s Natomas area on Monday afternoon, leaving the driver in critical condition.
