Personal Injury Attorney
Jacob Stoeltzing is a personal injury attorney at Frank Penney Injury Law dedicated to helping injured individuals and families rebuild their lives after serious accidents. He represents clients in matters involving car accidents, truck accidents, premises liability claims, wrongful death cases, and other personal injury matters throughout Northern California.
Jacob attended Brigham Young University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. After graduation, he was selected as a recipient of McGeorge School of Law’s full-tuition Kennedy Scholarship. During law school, Jacob gained valuable legal experience working in the McGeorge Community Legal Services Center, competing in moot court competitions as a member of the Moot Court Honors Board, and interning for two summers with Frank Penney Injury Lawyers.
He graduated from McGeorge with distinction and was admitted to the California Bar. Jacob began his legal career in 2022 representing employees of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in civil rights litigation. He later served as a Deputy District Attorney for Sutter County, where he was lead attorney in four jury trials and argued more than 100 contested hearings.
Jacob’s courtroom background, litigation experience, and commitment to justice now support his work advocating for injured clients seeking compensation and accountability after serious accidents.
Jacob has been married to his wife, Mariah, for seven years, and together they have a young daughter, with their second daughter expected this fall. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family, playing guitar, cooking, and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Before completing college, Jacob served a mission with his church in Stockholm, where he learned Swedish and continues to enjoy reading his Swedish edition of Harry Potter.
